Using Artificial Intelligence for Fashion Design

As a professional fashion designer, I have leaned heavily on paid for trend services, suhc as WGSN. Sometimes brands that have engaged me have allowed me to go n the road and do my own market shopping, trend research, and competitor analysis. As the world closed down from Covid, and also tightening budgets, it can be difficult for a designer to see what’s out there on the market from my hometown of Denver, Colorado. While where I live is beautiful, it is not exactly the epicenter of the fashion world. Recently I have been playing with AI tools, such as Dall-E (Chat GPT), Midjourney, and NewArc, to cultivate, inspire, hone in on a vibe, narrow my focus, and even to improve my 3D render images. This blog will focus on artificial intelligence explorations on image making, fashion design, eliminating or advancing upon traditional trend services (which are also using AI).
