Variations On a Theme

I can’t even believe how marketing friendly, color palette enabled this laydown illustration of a collection is. I only had to use minimal prompting with a brand reference for it to get picked up properly. The amount of ideas and explorations in one image is astounding. This is something I will share with my client as well as incorporate into my new work. Using wither Illustrator or 3D tools to create and iterate on fashion designs ultra-quickly and close to season. Some of the mystery of fashion forecasting is difficult so far away in advance of season when working 1.5-2 years out from when the product will hit stores. I love the amalgam of what’s happening RIGHT NOW on the market here. I know that some of the “designs” are faulty or incomplete in the image below, and could not be commercially viable. That’s not really the point. The point is just to get to the meat and potatoes of what is trending in different spaces and I can dial it in by men, women, kids, season or color.
